Joji Uramatsu

I worked as a newspaper reporter for 34 years. As China Bureau Chief I was posted to China, Taiwan and Thailand, where I reported on both the people who work and the companies that employ them. What I saw again and again was people going ahead without knowing the rules, and finding they could not go back.

In addition to being a Certified Social Insurance and Labour Consultant, I am registered as an Administrative Scrivener and a Licensed Real Estate Transaction Specialist. However, each is a separate office or company, and you contract with each of them individually. Residence status applications are handled by 四葉行政書士事務所, and office or company-housing leases by 四葉不動産株式会社. Engaging this office is never a condition of engaging the others, and we neither pay nor receive referral fees.

Terms of engagement

For companies and sole proprietors, we work on a retainer basis. Disability pension claims (for individuals) and external auditor appointments (for supervising support organisations) do not require a retainer agreement.

Your first consultation is free for up to 60 minutes. If we do not enter into a retainer agreement, a second or later consultation is 11,000 yen (tax included) per hour.
